chapter 1
“Just one more time it won’t hurt”
Debras thought ran through her head like a cheater running across the horizon. She felt like she was going to pop any second! Lizzie her cavalier lay at the end of the bed sleeping soundly.it was 3:15 now and Debra was getting tired.the room was as dark as night and the curtains were tightly shut.
the lion in her garden was as cold as ice and made out of stone. Every time it was touched it brought doom.
Debra carefully got out of bed and put on her red and purple sneakers and crept across the creaky floor.
when she got to the door she heard Eilleen her 7 month old baby sister crying, Debra ran out of the door as fast as she could out of the house. again she came face to face with the lion that made her have nightmares, and ,now her worst nightmare was about to come true…

The Secret of the Planets – a story written in the style of Roald Dahl
October 15th, 2009 by Mr Hatfield's class in Uncategorized · 5 Comments
Sophie hurried anxiously down the street. The earth was a beutifull plce really. With the moonlight scattered everywhere it looked like someone had put it on permanent washout. Maybe thats because they had. No-one knew apart from her, though. Of course that would cause panic. Telling everyone Saturn had died would be bad. She had found out by acident. Waking up to find her uncle dead with half his skull smashed in had been most of it. In fact the more she thought about it, the more she realised. She was Sophie and she was going to find out what really happened.

Alison has had a fantastic result. She has recently passed with distinction a musical theatre award. This involved singing and dance which was followed by a nerve racking question and answer session. Alison achieved an amazing score of 92/100. What a fabulous result for Alison and 5H.
